ReviewGeek compares casino slots side-by-side on RTP, volatility, features and bonus mechanics. Here’s exactly how the numbers on this site are put together, and where they come from.

Where slot data comes from

Slot details (RTP, volatility, reels, paylines, bet ranges, feature flags, provider, and artwork) are sourced from the SlotsLaunch API and kept in sync automatically, alongside any titles added by hand. Every field shown in a comparison — RTP, volatility, max win multiplier, and so on — is a real reported value from that sync, not an estimate.

The ReviewGeek Score

Neither SlotsLaunch nor any other slot-data provider publishes player ratings or review counts, so instead of inventing one, ReviewGeek computes a transparent 0–100 score from data every slot already has:

  • RTP — up to 50 points. Scored on a straight line from 94% RTP (0 points) to 98% RTP (50 points). Slots below 94% score 0 here; nothing scores above 50.
  • Feature richness — up to 30 points. The share of our 10 tracked features (Megaways, Bonus Buy, Progressive Jackpot, Tumbling Reels, Increasing Multipliers, Autoplay, Quick Spin, Free Demo, Land-Based Availability, and Featured status) a given slot has, scaled to 30.
  • Win potential — up to 20 points. The slot’s maximum win multiplier, scaled logarithmically (so the difference between a 500× and 5,000× ceiling matters more than the difference between a 100,000× and 150,000× one) up to a 150,000× ceiling for a full 20 points.

Those three add up to the score out of 100 (and a 0–5 star rating, for a quick glance). It’s a formula, not a review team’s opinion — the same slot always gets the same score from the same underlying data, and you can check the math yourself from the RTP/feature/max-win numbers shown right next to it.

How comparisons are picked

Any two slots in the catalog can be compared directly by URL. The “Popular Comparisons” and “Similar Comparisons” pairings shown around the site are curated separately, as a starting point — they don’t limit or gate which two slots you can actually compare.

Bonuses, affiliate links, and geo-targeting

Casino brand bonuses shown in the “Brands” popup are managed independently of slot data and RTP scores — which casinos appear, and their order, is not influenced by a slot’s RTP, features, or ReviewGeek Score. Some links to casino partners are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. Bonus terms, and which countries a given bonus is available in, vary and change — always confirm current terms on the operator’s site before depositing.
